The scholarship fund aims to give Potential Development staff opportunities to further their education. By doing so, it helps them build knowledge and skills, ultimately benefiting the students with autism they serve in their classrooms. This initiative not only honors Bill Roux’s dedication to education but also ensures that his impact continues to be felt through the professional growth and development of the school’s staff.

The Bill Roux Memorial Scholarship is committed to investing in education and strengthening classrooms dedicated to working with students with autism. Funds raised through this event will benefit teachers and educators of Potential Development, Pre-K through 12th grade.

“As a recent recipient of the Bill Roux Memorial Scholarship PD Reimbursement Program, I was able to further my education by enrolling in Ohio’s Intensive Pedagogical Training Institute (IPTI). I completed the four-month course in two months and received an Intervention Specialist License. This opportunity has given me the tools to better educate my students with autism by providing them with individualized and differentiated lessons to meet each student’s individual needs and abilities.  Thank you to the Roux Family for their continued generosity and investment in our school!”
